Support Your Local Holler
Holler: A small, sheltered valley that usually but not necessarily has a watercourse
When the floodwaters of Helene rose, North Carolinians answered and we continue to answer. Since the devastation of the storm hit Western North Carolina, Runologie has been doing its best to continuing helping and fill a need when necessary. The mountains are going to need a lot of help and we are fully along for the recovery, however long it takes.
How is Runologie Helping?
Christmas came a little early at Runologie.. We got trees y’all! 🌲
Starting the week of Thanksgiving, we have 6’-7’ Fraser Firs available for sale at the shop with all proceeds going to benefit Western North Carolina. These beauties were cut & baled yesterday at Foggy Mountain Nursery in Ashe County. The town that these trees came from, Lansing, was hit hard by floodwaters from Helene. We are proud to sell these at the shop and greatly appreciate the work everyone is doing in Christmas Tree country to ensure the rest of us can celebrate the holidays season.
Proceeds from the trees go to benefit BeLoved Asheville & the Build For Good Foundation. Both organizations are grateful for donations, so if you have a tree or tee already, please consider donating to these two organizations that have proven to be boots on the ground for their communities.
Get yourself a Tee and show your love for Western NC!
Right after the storm, we hit up our friend Ruben Rodriguez to come up with a design that embodies WNC. Ruben did not disappoint and we have sold hundreds of shirts to benefit the cause. You can catch these beauties on the backs of local celebrities and some of the most top tier athletes in college running.
